Entering Australian National Competitions Entering International Competitions Latest tips from Dale Neill June 2009 WAPF Competition Director Manual Club Competition Secretary/Directors Guide Need a Camera Club or Photo Competition Judge? The WAPF does not provide any Judging services. Please contact the PJAWA Secretary by clicking the link below. Current charges for judging are a minimum of $10, plus 20c per km each way for travelling expenses.

Welcome members and guests to the West Australian Photographic Federation website. Bookmark this site to make sure you keep up-to-date with upcoming photography competitions and events. To participate in a WAPF Competition or event you need to be a member of one of our affiliated clubs. There are currently 23 affiliated clubs throughout Western Australia. Take advantage of our photography tips and technical information and feel free to browse through our Photo Gallery. WAPF AGM
The WAPF held its AGM on the 8th Febrtuary 2009, there was a disappointing turnout of clubs delegates with a lage number of clubs not represented. This makes the running of the federation difficult; it was with a lot of coaxing the we finally got a enough of a committee to keep the organisation legal for a few months.
The new committee is:
Paul McGrath -President
John Quintner -Vice President
Yvette Bonhoffer -Secretary (Trial depending on other commitments)
Barr Edwards -Acting Treasurer
Darren Kay -IPP
Jim Hopson - Committee
Brian McManus -Committee
John Guthrie - Committee
Barr has been Treasurer for more than 50 years and deserves to retire, so we need a person to fill this roll, if we cannot find someone to the WAPF will be forced to Dissolve it self and the Public Liability Insurance will be lost. Please canvas your club membership to see if someone can be found.
