Saturday 24th May    Explore the Ferguson Valley and beyond:

There are two Photo Tours Planned:  (These are optional - you may do your own thing)

Option ONE  - Camera Electronic will have a staff member available all day to attend to any queries... (and provide a ‘show-bag’)

Heading south to Balingup and the Golden Valley Tree Park, which we hope will be showing autumn colour and if we are lucky a misty morning.

Head back to the Ferguson Valley, perhaps making a stop at Gnomesville and to our lunch spot at St Aidan Winery to arrive between 12.30-1.30 pm

Option TWO (Limited Numbers)

Head east to visit a working open pit coal mine.  This is not a visit where you will have to shoot from a viewing platform.  You will be able to go into the pit and into the workshops to get up close to big pieces of heavy earthmoving equipment.

From Collie we will head through the Wellington National Park. There is likely to be some cascading water so we will have a few stops at Honeymoon Pool or Potters Gorge and then back into the back of the Ferguson Valley to our lunch spot at St Aidan Winery to arrive between 12.30-1.30 pm

Afternoon at your leisure.  Suggestions and directions to various locations will be provided.

Optional Sunset Shoot at Bunbury’s back beach:

Wyalup-Rocky Point (not far from the lighthouse).  The black basalt rocks create a distinctive feature along the beach.  Sunset is around 5:20pm so you have time to get back for dinner.

7:30 pm - Saturday Dinner (provided), followed by:

Guest Speaker: International Photographer - Sam Harris
