You are invited to participate in a photography competition and exhibition to showcase images reflecting the diversity of recreational and commercial fishing within Western Australia.  Finalist prints will be exhibited by the Western Australian Maritime Museum in Fremantle from 6 July 2019  to 25 August 2019 and will have the opportunity to win a Nikon D7500  camera and 24-85mm lens valued at over $2300

The definition of this competition is
"Fishing WA - an image depicting anything to do with recreational or commercial fishing within Western  Australia."

There are 2 parts to this competition:
Round 1 entries will be shortlisted to identify finalists.
Round 2 finalist entries will be printed and exhibited.

Entries open 3 May 2019 - Entries close 31 May 2019 9th june

In addition to these core rules, the following rules specific to this competition are.

  1. Entry fee is $5 per image and a maximum of 3 images can be entered.
  2. High-Resolution Files and a payment of $30 must be provided, for images shortlisted for exhibition (WAPF will arrange the for the Images to be printed and matted by Fitzgerald Photo Imaging)
  3. The Nikon Prize will be awarded to the print selected by popular vote, i.e. People's Choice
  4. A WAPF Prize will be awarded to an image selected by the WAPF Competition Committee.
  5. File names must also include the location, (Eg - Joe_Citizen_Craypots_Cervantes)

Printing of images is by Fitzgerald Photo Imaging to produce a high-quality consistent print
